Lyrics: You caught me looking, I saw a smile I hadn’t seen one in quite a while My waiting was over, hmmm We danced together, I got a kiss I can’t remember when I felt like this So happy together, hmmm First a smile, then a kiss, now a tear The days that followed, our love grew Things were perfect for me and you Our waiting was over, hmmm All I dreamed for and all I planned Was right here with me in my hand So happy together, hmmm First a smile, then a kiss, now a tear Ain’t it tragic, ain’t it strange With just one x-ray, my life changed My waiting’s now over, hmmm So smile down on me once again In dreams I’ll kiss you like back then No longer together, hmmm First a smile, then a kiss, now a tear First a smile, then a kiss, now a tear Listen to the original version here: https://youtu.be/ny9q_AnVmMM
